MY CHRONOLOGY...
I have been a business entrepreneur for most of my working life. I have owned my own construction business for almost 30 years and an entertainment agency for 12 years. I am currently working as a full time musician/entertainer and stay occupied, as well, with my other two businesses. My construction company is operated locally while the entertainment agency is operated in all of the United States and Canada. I also would like to add that I am in the process of completing my doctorate of education (EdD) in Instruction Systems Design Technology (ISDT) at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. My anticipated date of graduation is to be determined.
I was born in Houston, TX, but was raised, for most of my life, in a small Texas town called Cut and Shoot. I began my first semester at Sam Houston State University in 1992, as soon as the year after, I received my high school diploma at Conroe High School. At that time I had completed several college credits, and when I turned 20 years of age, I became a firefighter in the Houston Fire Department. After serving several years, as a civil servant, it came to realization that my construction business was being overwhelmed with clientele and I was then forced to allocate all of my time to the business.
I became interested in attending once again, Sam Houston State University and fulfilling my educational needs and goals. I completed my bachelor's degree In Fire Science & Safety, double-minored in construction management and industrial design & development, and was on my way to grad school in 2008. I then was accepted into the Industrial Technology graduate program, at Sam Houston State University, and received my Master's degree in 2011. In 2011 I also became occupied as a musician/entertainer/artist and opened the entertainment agency.
In the year of 2020, as you well may know, a pandemic called COVID-19, plagued the world into health and economical ruin. My two businesses well all but inactive. I had pondered an idea of that, at some point, I'd like to return to Sam Houston State University as a doctoral student. In the year of 2020 I had applied, and later was accepted, into the Instructional Systems Design & Technology (ISDT) doctoral program at Sam Houston State University. I have made progress halfway through the program. I enjoy expanding a knowledge base of many things and receiving an ongoing education that will, in turn, provide countless avenues of success for me in the future!
